Yolanda Lininger - Linincorgi - Regular and Non-Regular Class Judge

I have been passionately involved with the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed for over three decades, and an active member of both the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America (PWCCA), and the Lakeshore Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club, where I continue to support breed education and preservation.

​

Throughout my career, I have produced numerous Specialty Best of Breed winners. My breeding program has achieved national recognition, including three prestigious Best of Breed wins at the PWCCA National Specialty. These accomplishments reflect my unwavering commitment to the health, temperament, and conformation of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. My dogs are distinguished by their soundness, breed type, and ring presence—qualities I have cultivated through decades of careful selection and hands-on experience.

My hope is that I am not only known for my success in the ring but also for a thoughtful approach to breeding and willingness to share knowledge with fellow breeders, exhibitors, and aspiring judges.

I am honored to accept this sweepstake assignment and appreciate the chance to see your youngsters and veterans. 

​

I have been part of the Coventry team since I got my first corgi in 1997.  I showed my first dog, a strange looking cross between a German Shepherd and Basset in 4-H obedience at the age of 12.  Our teacher, an AKC judge, raised Shetland Sheep Dogs and gave me a taste for the sport of dogs. 

 

A veterinarian by trade, I have supported breeders and our sport for decades.  As part of the Purposely Bred Preservation movement, I have been a speaker for the AKC on several occasions and given breeder education seminars throughout my career.

Coventry has produced generations of Best in Show dogs, Best in Specialty dogs, top producers, and most importantly generations of family members.  We have won our national twice and been voted breeder of the year twice by our peers nationwide.  Bill Shelton, Steve Leyerly, Deborah Salow, and Kevin Foist have been part of our team for decades.  We have also been fortunate to have shared our dogs with some co-owners who have made our dogs successful over the decades. 

 

Home base is in the Missouri Ozarks, where we live and have dedicated our home to our dogs.
