Danelle Brown - 2023 Specialty Judge

I obtained my first Pembroke in 1986. I was competing at an obedience trial with my Labrador and a vendor had a litter of adorable pups in a puppy pen behind her booth. We started talking to her and a couple months later one of the little guys joined our household in Savannah, GA. That dog would grow up to be Multiple BIS BISS CH Traid Captain Crunch CDX AX NAJ VC ROMX or to us just Huey, which was the type of helicopter my husband was flying at the time. I was hooked after that and we had our first litter under the Nomad prefix (my husband was military and we were nomadic!) about 5 years later.  I began judging in 1998 and have been blessed to judge not only in the US but also Australia, Korea, China and Mexico. I have judged many regional Pem specialties but the highlight was judging the 2021 PWCCA National.
